Sometimes we sit in a church staff meeting and bang our heads against the wall. (Metaphorically speaking, of course…)
- If those people would just keep complaining….
- If that high school girl would just show up every week…
- If that one staff was just more organized….
- If people just tithed….
- If we just had more talented musicians…..
- If the old people just understood…..
- If the teenagers would just quit making a mess….
Sometimes we have a hard time getting people to do stuff.
There is no point to this. It is just a reality.
Nothing you do will rid yourself of the bang-your-head-against-the-wall problems.
(so why are you worrying about it?)

haha…I understand where your coming from. Sometimes there seems to be a fuzzy line between diversity and division.
Each of the problems that you address (that make you want to bang your head) comes from the simple problem of pride, which manifests itself these days as a self serving “the world revolves around me” attitude, to which I find myself capitulating to and asking forgiveness for all the time.
But, while it is a reality, I think it is a reality that while not completely unavoidable, can be brought down.
