if you’re a part of a church, this is for you….
Jesus died for you. Jesus died for everyone. Lots and lots of people died in whole-hearted clinging to the way of Jesus. People have lost family, people have left there jobs, many have took lower pay for their faith.
If your faith in Jesus is half-hearted, it isn’t faith. John writes that God pukes out the “lukewarm” because He just can’t stomach them. (ps. their lukewarm living was rooted in wealth. sound familiar America?)
So slam on the brakes or put the pedal to the floor. Not half-way. Don’t drive the speed limit. It’s all or nothing.
Jesus-Living is not equipped with cruise control or a speedometer.
Just put the gas to the floor.
