a reflection of my last 7 years of life

Since I was a junior in high school, I have a had a continual sense of God’s presence in my life. Lately, I’ve paused and taking stock of what God been doing. Not just over the last year or of the last 5, but ever since that day where I was moved to tears by God’s love.

Here is my guess.

As I look at the things that break my heart, they have a similar strain. My heart breaks for those who have been alienated by the Church. When I hear stories of people who have been hurt by churches, my heart hurts. Nothing ticks me off more than when Christians – intentionally or not – misrepresent Jesus to the world.

If I had to write it out in a sentence, it’d read like this:

My passion is reconciling the people of the Church with the people of the world.

  1. Joel says:

that is so true. My heart is there too man. Coincidence? methinks not.

Got something to say? Go for it!
