Odds are, there are probably people who work for you or with you. Am I right?
ATTENTION: The rest of this is a life and death matter.
To those who work with/for you, you can bring either life or death. I’ll explain.
Let’s say you supervise someone. They’re working for you. Maybe because they’re passionate about their work or maybe to get a paycheck. Probably a combination of both. You can either bring that person life and passion and energy and fullness with the way you supervise them. Or you could bring them death. You could drain and stretch and burden them.
What will keep that person connected to you is either their paycheck or their passion. As a leader, you choose which it is. The way you treat people either makes their work life or death.
You bring life or death
(ps. this isn’t just true of everyone who works for you, it’s true of everyone, everywhere. period. start treating people like it)
