fanatical, crazy, hateful…

In reading the book of Jeremiah, I’m reminded that God’s actions, God’s words, and God’s message may seem harsh to some.

if people today would say the same critical, phrophet things that Jeremiah was saying, they’d be seen as fanatical, crazy, and hateful.

   Agreed. I find that a lot of times, we want God to be the God that makes us comfortable. We are willing to acknowledge some aspects of God, but ignore others.

   God is going to be God no matter what we think or feel, so the sooner we realize that, the better or walk with him will be.
