Listening to another lecture on leadership in college, I pulled out my journal and wrote down thoughts that were running through my head:
Do I really need to know 8 different categories of leadership? Would I be worse off if I missed this? Will I remember this? Does the teacher even care?
This could be so much better. The teacher is preparing pastors, leaders, missionaries and servants and he doing it in a totally dispassionate/disconnected way. The method doesn’t match the message.
Have you ever heard a pastor, leader or teacher communicate as if they’re just checking off boxes of information they have to go through? Have you ever heard a similar person communicate from the depth of their heart?
Preachers, pastors, teachers, leaders and youth pastors: right now, the next generation of church elders and ministry directors are sitting in our gatherings listening to us teach. Do you care about those you’re teaching? Is it obvious? Make it obvious.

awesome, so true. Too many people speak with such a lack of passion. We should be leading with passion. If we’re exited about something, the exitement will spread.
I have a heathen friend that wants to work for God but is still struggling to give his life to Him. He’s coming to serve with me on my next mini-mission.
